Casually watching this video I said to myself “damn this guy is a beast” then I scrolled over the title to see that this “beast” as in fact, Top Gear presenter Sabine Schmitz. It’s almost as if she is subconsciously navigating the track IN THE RAIN while applying most of her focus on blasting by other cars.I hope the BBC gives her PLENTY of air time, she is my favorite presenter so far...

That’s a good point. What is the role of The Stig going forward. I hope this means that the power laps have a greater importance since they properly scaled that back in the later series.

It’s like she has the difficulty level set on rookie. That is amazing how much more speed she carries through the corners and how much later she is braking than everyone else.

I was so disappointed to see her car left blank for the “fastest driver” column on the Daytona scoring page. She's incredible. (But yeah...I don't want to see the Stig when he's angry!)

Ah, but let’s see if we ever see The Stig and Sabine Schmitz at the same time on the show. I don’t mean in the studio, any stand-in can put on a helmet and a jump suit and stand around silently with arms folded; I mean on the track.
